Launched in Spring 2024 by a Spelman third-year Bonner Scholar, Olivia Gray, NailsBySpelset has been running as a business to provide high-quality, affordable nail care services to a large population of young college students and professionals. Since then, NailsBySpelset has serviced over 100 girls attending colleges in the AUC, Georgia State University, Georgia Technical Institute of Technology, Emory University, Kennesaw State University, and more.

While NailsBySpelset mainly caters to college students, any one can book, though the focus is always to make nail care accessible for young adults!

Popular deals for college students provided by NailsBySpelset are centered around Homecoming, Founders’ Day, Back2School, holidays and more. NailsBySpelset has promoted over 20 types of deals and discounts which has made it a successful, thriving business in the metro-Atlanta area.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world.

  • Within 10 minutes driving distance. This location makes it convenient and easily accessible to college students attending Spelman, Morehouse, or Clark Atlanta University.

  • Unfortunately, no. The client must always book via site prior to their requested appointment date and time.

  • Acrylic (S-XL length), basic manicure, and soak offers are services provided through NailsBySpelset. I do not perform Gel-X, foreign fill-ins, or builder gel services.

  • Absolutely! Once you have booked, feel free to text the number attached to your email confirmation and send any number of photos with inspo.

  • This business accepts Zelle, CashApp, Apple Pay, or cash. No Paypal or Venmo is acceptable.

  • Between a full set or fill-in, the nails can last anywhere from 3-8 weeks. I do not advise you keep a set for more than 4 weeks as it becomes more susceptible to growing bacteria and damage to the nail beds.

  • Student discounts are periodically posted on the NailsBySpelset IG page including homecoming, Founders’ Day (Spelman only), Back2School, Spring Break, and select holidays.

    Discounts for non-enrolled students include holidays, seasonal, and for referrals.
